SayNoToXenophia
campaign is actually a great campaign but not just for the business sites but
also for humanity simply because these people are humans just like the rest of
us and I believe that We south Africans wouldn’t be pleased one bit if we heard
that one of our fellow south African was in a xenophobic attack in some country
. If the Xenophobic attack continues in South Africa, a lot of people will lose
business as they are business partners with non-south African citizens. The
social media platforms works as an eye opener to lot of Non South African
citizens who might have once thought of coming to South Africa to do business
or rather just to visit, they perceive South Africa as a violent country.
It’s
a strong urge for the non-south Africa citizen never to set foot in our country
and since these foreigners are the ones dominating in the corporate world the
economy will have a downfall and these won’t be a great thing for South Africa.
These hashtags changes the perceptions of the public. The campaign
SayNoToXenophobia is a strong movement that is supported by the government
itself and a lot of people are doing the best they can when it comes to
fighting Xenophobia. The president once said that no grievance
against a foreigner could ever justify cold-blooded murder, the destruction of
property and displacement of people. The South African citizens are clearly xenophobic
as they are outdone by foreigners.
it a good campaign especially to remind all people about humanity. we have lost so many lives due to people who feel inferior and decide to beat on people who immigrate to our country.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you but it seems as if these xenophobic attacks are from some kind of agenda, it's not just that we forgot about humanity and how important someone's life is, it's just the mindset
ReplyDeleteThese campaign can really help save a lot of lives and can makes the people realise that these attacks are actually draging our country's name to the mud
ReplyDeleteI agree and draging the country's name to the mud might scare tourists away from the country as the would fear for their lives since the country is xenophobic. These campaign is great and needs people to stick together to beat finally stop with these attacks
ReplyDeletebut why do these attacks seems like they are never ending even through the support of the government itself, it seems like it's just talk and no action
ReplyDeleteI think it is because the country is faced with lots of issues that are also as important as this one and it tries to address them at once instead of focussing on one issue and moving to the next issue after the first has been completely fixed or should i say sorted
ReplyDeletebut why is it difficult for them to only focus on one issue. I mean like what is it with these leadership of ours
ReplyDeleteIt might be the system the country adopted from the previous leaders or maybe i should say it is what our leaders were taught and they are or might be afraid that trying different approaches might riun things and they might not be able to make up for the loss
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right when you talk about our system.I think lot of people are afraid of doing things differentely and thats why these attack might never end but i think its best to vjust hope for the best andd support these kind of campaigns
ReplyDeleteWhat you saying is that the leadership fear that applying new methods or doing things differently might ruin a lot of things, But how are we giong to actually see change if we always do things exactly the same everytime. I think a lot of thinmgs needs to be changed within our country maybe it might help slower or eventually stop this strong hatred we South Africans have against foregners
